On February 8 the sitting of the political coalition council was held in the National Assembly, where the issue of proposing the candidacy of the Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) during the current session was discussed.
Taking into account that the great majority of the participants voted in favour of Armen Harutiunyan, the coalition unified candidate during the close, secret ballot, it was decided to propose his candidacy.
